WW Livestock Announces Strategic Alliance with Stampede Steel

stampedeLivestock producers and growers now can take advantage of an agreement which brings products of the two premier equipment lines together in the United States and Canada. WW Manufacturing Company and Stampede Steel announced this week an agreement has been completed creating a strategic alliance. Products of both companies will continue to be offered.

The alliance provides for WW to be the exclusive manufacturer and distributor of Stampede products in the United States. Products of both companies will be available to dealers throughout the country. Some dealers may offer both lines of equipment while others will offer only WW or Stampede.

Also created in the alliance is an agreement for Stampede to exclusively market WW products in Canada. Stampede also will provide products to U.S. ranchers that WW may choose not to manufacture. A few select areas in the northern states will also be available to Stampede for marketing purposes.

"I am very pleased to create this alliance with WW. Our products are both recognized as having exceptional quality and while there is some basic differences in the design of the products, both have served cattlemen very well for a long time," says John Requate, President of Stampede.

Requate will be consulting and assisting during the manufacturing startup by WW. He is recognized as an innovator in the industry and his product is used by cattlemen seeking the highest quality of design and operation.

WW is headquartered in Thomas, Oklahoma in a 75,000 square foot facility built in 2000. Production of Stampede products will be performed in this modern facility and is scheduled to begin in early March with some products available in April.

Ted Webster, whose father and grandfather founded WW some 62 years ago, explained, "We feel this alliance combines quality people and product with another group of quality people and product. The differences in the designs, while both very efficient, have some manufacturing and operational advantages. This will allow the discriminating buyer to compare the two finest products on the market side-by-side and determine which fits their operation best. In many situations, buyers may find a combination of products from the two lines can be integrated together to fit their needs best. We think combining the reputation of WW reliability with the Stamped product creates a great opportunity."

Buyers in Canada will continue to use the Stampede contact information for both Stampede products and now WW products. In the United States, Stampede and WW products can be accessed by contacting the same numbers previously used by both companies. WW also has a division which manufactures Paul Scales. Production facilities for WW are located in Thomas and Duncan, Oklahoma and in Livingston, Tennessee. Stampede Steel is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta Canada.

Save One Round Bale For Every 20 You Feed with the WW HaySaver

Wasted hay equals wasted money and as hay prices continue to rise each year, hay waste continues to steal a bigger and bigger chunk out of bottom line profits. To help producers tackle this growing problem WW Livestock Systems has developed the HaySaver, a cone-style round bale feeder that saves one round bale for every 20 fed.

The HaySaver's functionality is a credit to it's unique design and superior manufacturing. Ranch tested and approved, it features rust-resistant material, bale suspension and self-centering.

Because the bale will automatically center itself within the feeder, cattle are allowed easy access from all directions while the unique bale suspension design eliminates waste, spoilage and contamination common with traditional on-the-ground bale feeders. As with all WW Livestock Systems products, the HaySaver is protected by a one-year warranty.

"The HaySaver is perfect for feeding in lots and confinement areas. Not only does it reduce wasted hay and keep feeding areas clean, it's easy for livestock to feed from," says WW Livestock Salesman Sam Eck .
