The Chaparral is WW's workhorse panel — the one that shows up at arena fence, time event cattle pens, portable corral setups, horse facilities, and anywhere you need a serious panel without the full weight and footprint of a Classic. Fabricated from 1.9" 16-gauge tubing meeting ASTM A-513 1008/1010 standards, it looks nearly identical to the Classic at a glance — an eighth of an inch smaller in diameter, one gauge lighter — but it's still heavier than most competitor panels marketed as heavy-duty.

Unlike Classic panels, which require posts as their leg, Chaparral panels are self-standing — each panel has its own J-leg (optional) built in, which means no connecting posts required. That makes them faster to set up and tear down for portable applications and gives you more flexibility in how you configure a pen. All components connect with self-contained pins for tool-free interlocking.

At rodeos, the Chaparral is the panel of choice for arena fence and time event cattle areas — calves and steers at 500 lbs and under. Where the rough stock pens behind bucking chutes call for Classic, the arena fence and roping boxes run Chaparral. That's the dividing line, and it reflects how the products were designed.
