SWEEP SYSTEM - 210

Cattle Handling

SWEEP SYSTEM - 210

Same system as the 270. Built for facilities where a full 180-degree turn isn't possible.

If you've looked at the 270 and your facility layout won't accommodate a full 180-degree cattle turn, the 210 is your answer. One fewer tub panel, slightly lower price, and the flexibility to direct cattle at any angle from 90 degrees to somewhere in between — whatever your building, pen layout, or working setup requires.

The animal flow logic still applies: cattle move forward through a curved tub and into a single-file alley leading to your chute. The difference is purely directional. Where the 270 sends cattle back the direction they came from, the 210 gives you the option to send them 90 degrees off their entry path — or anywhere in between — to fit your specific setup.

Everything else is identical to the 270. Same 2" 14-gauge tubing, same 6-foot height, same 6 horizontal rails, same spring-loaded crowd gate latch, same pin-together panel system with no rattling chains to spook cattle, same add-on options.

Three sheeting configurations — choose what fits your facility:

Open - no sheet metal, maximum airflow, preferred in hot climates

Half Sheeted - sheeted tub, open alley

Full Sheeted - fully sheeted tub and half-sheeted alley, reduces visual distractions for better cattle flow

Optional add-ons:

Eliminator Gate - eliminates corners in the tub for no-hassle cattle movement and maximum operator safety

Bull Sheet - solid sheeting that blocks outside distractions and keeps cattle focused forward through the alley

V Trap with 60" Gate-in-Frame - allows easy sorting or loadout to either side at the alley exit

Cattle Handling

SWEEP SYSTEM - 270

The most efficient way to move cattle into a squeeze chute. One person, one position.

A sweep tub and alley system is how you get cattle from a pen into your squeeze chute without a second person, a lot of walking, and a lot of stress on the animals. The 270 is WW's ideal configuration — a full 180-degree crowding tub that feeds into a single-file alley leading directly to your chute.

The 180-degree design isn't arbitrary. Cattle moving through a full half-circle feel like they're heading back the direction they came from — and animal behaviorists have documented for years that this instinct makes them flow through more readily than a 90-degree turn. Less pressure, less balking, less time per animal. The 270 also cuts down on operator walking: the alley exit and the tub entry end up only about eight feet apart, so you're stepping back and forth, not covering ground.

Panels pin together quickly with no swinging chains to rattle and spook cattle. A spring-loaded latch on the crowd gate allows easy forward swing while preventing it from swinging back on the operator. Constructed from 2" 14-gauge tubing, 6 feet tall with 6 horizontal rails throughout.
